Editor: Let me get this straight now. I arrived at the Horseshoe Bay terminal one and a half hours before the scheduled 5:55 afternoon sailing.

Editor: Much has been written criticizing BC Ferries Corporation, and most of it is well deserved. There is, however, one thing I would like to bring to your attention and that is the boorish anti-social behaviour of many ferry passengers.

Editor: This is in response to the letter of Sarama (“Goosebird indeed a creek,” July 1), which refers to a drainage ditch in lower Gibsons as a “creek.

Editor: The recent Sunshine Coast fixed link discussions held in both Powell River and Sechelt, among government and business leaders, was party to a missing link.

Editor: It was very encouraging to see so many people attending the meeting about our Chapman Creek watershed, citizens and elected officials alike.

Editor: The Gibsons Landing Heritage Society (GLHS) depends on community support to upgrade and maintain the Heritage Playhouse, and this year generous donations have enabled the society to accomplish some important projects, many of which are focuse

Editor: There’s Generation X, and Genderation whY? Because regardless of one’s gender, we all share the same sky. Is it the new normal? I hardly think it’s true. Genderation’s been around for millennia.
