FLAIR on the Coast will be held this Saturday, June 14, 10 a.m. to noon at the Rockwood Centre in Sechelt. They welcome back Leslie McDougall, legal coach, paralegal/investigator with 20 years’ experience in B.C.

SWF (Summer Weekend Festival) Seeks LTR with Landowner Stubborn, playful, and a little loud. I’m just a SWF looking for a special someone with room to stretch out, soak up some sun, and dance like nobody’s watching.

Music and merriment carried the day June 7 as Egmont’s streets (and harbour) were filled to the brim with locals and visitors delighting in all things Egmont. The festivities –– held the first Saturday in June annually –– included a kids fishing derby, cake walk, dunk tank, parade, BBQ, laser tag and more. At the Egmont Heritage Centre, Jay and the Civvie-Cats played a blues jam of covers, which came through loud and clear at the busy trailhead to the Skookumchuck Narrows.

The Gibsons-based summer camp is hosting an open house in July to celebrate the milestone.
