The Halfmoon Bay Branch of the Sunshine Coast Health Auxiliary was thrilled to be able to donate $1,500 to each of the Pender Harbour and Sechelt food banks during the week of Aug. 26.

Olivia Deringer, 11, is ready for an exciting school year as she enters Grade 6. Last week, an exchange student from France came over to stay with her family for the next few months.
