Editor: Several letters have appeared in Coast Reporter recently that seem intended to incite hatred. When three appear on the same page, the whole community starts to look ugly.

Editor: We think permitting a fish processing plant in a residential area continues to be a very lame idea. From the very beginning this plan was heavily promoted by a sophisticated and expensive PR campaign.

Editor: To all the volunteer firefighters that worked the devastating fire at Poplars Trailer Park last Thursday, my wife and I would like to thank you all deeply for saving our home from destruction.

Editor: As a relatively new "immigrant" to the Sunshine Coast, I fortunately have had no reason to visit the emergency department of St. Mary's Hospital.
