I have nothing but pity for Ms. Kuciuk and her constant and uneducated harassing of Target Marine and our council.

Editor: I walk with my dog in the woods every day. I carry the requisite "poop bags", but my dog likes to go far off into the bush to discreetly do his business.

Editor: Re: Dogs at GPAG reception That must have been me and my dog Moose you were referring to in your letter (Coast Reporter, Aug. 17). Moose is a miniature-Schnauzer miniature-Poodle cross, weighing in at about 12 to 14 pounds.

Editor: I am dismayed to read - again - that Shirley Kuciuk is challenging Sechelt's decision regarding Target Marine. The majority rules! The District of Sechelt has already made this decision (again and again).

Editor: It was with great difficulty that I was able to retain my composure and finish reading your most recent article re: Target Marine (Coast Reporter, Aug. 17).

Editor: Writing letters to the editor is not my preferred sport by a long shot, but I feel compelled to respond to Kathy Patterson's letter (Coast Reporter, Aug. 10). Its tone and content are very disturbing.

Editor: I have been very involved with recreation on the Coast since I began teaching here in 1970. We've come a long way from the days when we ball players used to have to do all the field maintenance ourselves.
