Tonight, Friday, March 14 the School of Music coffeehouse features Katrina Bishop a favourite talented local singer/songwriter performing songs from her new CD.

At Coopers Green Hall on March 29 at 7:30 p.m. the Welcome Beach Community Association (WBCA) is hosting a burger and beer night with live entertainment from the ever popular "Jack & G" a.k.a. Steve Jack and G Willy.

A treasure of Gibsons, Helen Alp (aka the shopping cart lady), passed away on March 1 at St. Mary's Hospital. Alp suffered a stroke several weeks ago and was being cared for at the hospital as her health was in steady decline.
