The Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden held its annual Harvest Festival on Sept. 6. More than 500 visitors enjoyed tours of the garden, displays by the Beekeepers, One Straw Society and the Astronomy Club, kids lawn games and crafts, wild tastings, a barbecue prepared by the Rotary Club, and live music from Brothers in Farms.
The event also celebrated this year's harvest from the vegetable gardens, from which pounds of food each year are donated to the Food Bank.
Pictured is Eliana Rintoul, who is pleased with her freshly planted dry garden filled with succulents and other drought-loving plants that she crafted at the Festival.
