Editor: The Auditor General for Local Government’s (AGLG) report on the last District of Sechelt council’s handling of the sewage treatment plant and the paving of Sandpiper, Mason and Heritage roads confirms that the citizens of Sechelt chose wisely

The following letter was sent to AG Suzanne Anton with an edited version copied to Coast Reporter. Dear Attorney-General Anton: Some citizens in B.C.

Editor: I write in response to Henry Hightower (“Advocating for health,” Coast Reporter letters, April 2) and thank him for expressing his concerns.

Editor: I would just like to compliment Coast Reporter regarding the excellent monthly articles presented by Hugh Macaulay addressing mental health issues.

Editor: A good editor must possess several qualities, and as your columnist for mental health issues on the Coast, I have had the best. Ian Jacques has a unique respect for a writer’s intent. His attention to detail is second to none.

Editor: In your edition of April 17, the Sunshine Coast Community Forest is still repeating their mantra that clear-cutting benefits biodiversity. I would like to present a few facts and invite a reply from the Community Forest.

Editor: I want to acknowledge and thank the young woman who spoke out at the annual general meeting of the Sunshine Coast Community Forest on Monday, April 20.
