Editor: So here we are again, decades later, still trying to save Gibsons pool. Yes, the hot tub finally died.

Editor: I take issue with the letter to the editor on Nov.

Dear ProjectSPIDER class: Re: Unreasonable to charge children as adults, Dec. 3 letters Thank you for taking the time to write regarding the charges for students on BC Ferries.

Editor: I support the Woodfibre LNG project because it : • Provides a vehicle for comprehensive site cleanup of the old pulp mill site, benefitting the terrestrial and marine environments of Howe Sound.

Editor: I see the Royal Bank made record profits again.

Editor: My Christmas shopping is done and has been since November. Again I bought the majority of my gifts in Sechelt (and made many gifts as well).

Editor: On Tuesday morning, Dec. l, outside Marks in Sechelt, a woman aged around 40 and driving a compact car had her phone on her steering wheel and was texting. She obviously did not see my husband walking back to his truck.

Editor: Thank you for your article in last Friday’s paper about the Light the Lights Festival in Sechelt. I need to clarify one point, though. I only organized the parade. I can not take credit where it is not due.

Editor: I am writing on behalf of the Florida Department of Citrus in response to the Nov. 20 article by columnist Paul Martiquet on the topic of good health (“Good health means more than weight loss”).
