Editor: Shame! Shame on the Sunshine Coast Homelessness Advisory Committee for not providing services to those homeless on the Coast.

Editor: Regarding the idea to add more tax to the already insane price we have to pay (“SCRD to discuss taxing people at the pump,” Nov. 20). The local gas cartel is charging more than the traffic can bear as it is.

Editor: Re: “SCRD to discuss taxing people at the pump,” Nov. 20. Why are politicians always digging for more taxes on gas? We are already paying way too much.

Sechelt Mayor and Council: I learned recently of the exemplary position taken by the mayor of the Town of Port Alberni in his announcement that the Town was welcoming refugees from Syria.

Editor: The world should know who buys ISIS oil, and who sells them weapons. Why not liquidate those sources? Why not bomb ISIS refineries and pipelines rather than send many soldiers to die in the desert? Jakob Knaus, Wilson Creek

Prime Minister Trudeau: My family and I are very concerned with your government’s plan to rush the arrival of 25,000 Syrian refugees to Canada by Jan. 1, 2016.

Editor: I’m confused about this political desire to have 25,000 Syrian refugees taken in by Canada by the end of 2015.

Editor: I must say the article in Coast Reporter concerning the South Coast Ford sign was not only a major revelation to me but also, with the Christmas season coming on, the timing could not have been better.
