Transportation Minister Todd Stone: Never in 23 years have we seen such terrible service from the BC Ferries Langdale run as on this Victoria Day long weekend.

Editor: About 10 days ago I had a fall due to a moment of inattention. I was very fortunate to have immediate help from people who had seen me fall.

Editor: Lunch time! Saturday! Heavy knocking on the door. Me to my wife: “Who would call right at lunch time?” Me to the door. Three girls, at a guess 8 to 11 years old. Me to myself: “What are they selling?” But nothing evident.

Editor: Let me first say that I love living in the Pender Harbour area. The sense of community, the wide choice of activities and the joy and dedication that goes into something like May Day are truly impressive.
