About 10 days ago I had a fall due to a moment of inattention. I was very fortunate to have immediate help from people who had seen me fall. I can’t express how grateful I am to these good Samaritans who took such good care of me and called the ambulance. The paramedics and the very busy doctors and nurses in the Sechelt Hospital emergency ward were all wonderful. And the whole experience has confirmed to me how lucky we are to live in such a compassionate and generous place.
