Danger Bay: a spectator's view

Danger Bay 5 last weekend in Pender Harbour was a complete and utter success.With over 130 racers this year it not only broke records, but also created a great show for spectators as well as the competitive downhill racers that joined in on the fun.

Breakers win in Whistler

The Suncoast Breakers travelled to Whistler in late April to participate in the Whistler Spring Summit hockey tournament 35-and-over division. They played .500 hockey in the round robin portion, winning one, tying one and losing the other.

Paddlers return from New Zealand

Three paddlers from the Sunshine Coast recently returned from New Zealand with a lifetime of memories and a hunger for future competition. Din Ruttelynck, Sarah Doherty and Donna Har-rison represented Canada at the 2006 World Sprint Races in March.
