The Sunshine Coast Skating Club had an exceptional showing at the Jingle Blades Competition in White Rock last weekend. Not even the weather could stop the girls from dominating in all events.
A total of five silver medals were brought home by Alison Camenisch, Alissa Harkin, Avery Struck, Caitlin Jarvis and Gayle Kwasney. A bronze was captured by Brooke Kwasney. Taylor Stachoski brought home a fifth place finish. Strong performances were also put in by Courtney Starrs, Mallory Slack, Reanna Popp, Chelsea Stachoski, Rowan MacLeod, Megan Calleweart, Emily Arsenault, Saba Kasuba, Zoe White, Arielle White and Rhiannon Dibley. Congratulations to all the girls as well as coaches Adam Zalegowski, Lesleigh Farr and Chantelle Dibley. Next up for the club is the WinterSkate competition in Mission on Jan. 6.
