Rainer lives out his rugby dream

After 38 years a dream has been fulfilled for John Rainer. The popular Gibsons barber and rugby player recently returned from a trip of a lifetime - a rugby tour in New Zealand.

Association hosts first tournament

With the advent of new squash courts on the Coast, the Sunshine Coast Squash Association recently held its inaugural squash tournament at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre.

Rep tryouts continue next week

Registration for rep teams ended on March 27, but tryouts continue with several sessions for girls and boys next week. The girls tryout at Ted Dixon Fields from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with the U12/13 on Wednesday, April 15, and the U14/15 on Thursday.
