Sunshine Coast RCMP reported the following for July 23 to 30: On July 23, police located a male sleeping in his vehicle parked in the middle of Highway 101 near Norwest Bay Road in Sechelt.

Vandals target neighbourhood with tar

On July 30 at approximately 6:40 a.m., Sunshine Coast RCMP attended the 5700 block of Genni's Way in Sechelt for multiple reports of mischief that occurred sometime overnight.

Conservatives select convention date

The provincial board of the BC Conservative Party has set the weekend of April 11, 2014 as the date for a leadership convention to replace John Cummins. Cummins tendered his resignation to the board last week.

Vehicle set ablaze in Lower Gibsons
