On Monday night, Oct. 21 at approximately 7 p.m., Sunshine Coast RCMP responded to a report of a missing youth from a foster home in Roberts Creek.
Search and rescue volunteers along with four Roberts Creek fire department members assisted RCMP in conducting a search for the youth, as RCMP assessed the situation as being 'high risk' due to geographical nature of the area and the youth having a diminished mental capacity.
At approximately 10 p.m. RCMP members located the youth, unharmed, at a Gibsons service station.
