The festivities –– held the first Saturday in June annually –– included a kids fishing derby, cake walk, dunk tank, parade, BBQ, laser tag and more. At the Egmont Heritage Centre, Jay and the Civvie-Cats played a blues jam of covers, which came through loud and clear at the busy trailhead to the Skookumchuck Narrows.
