'Patricia and family moved to the Sunshine Coast in 1974 and worked at St. Mary's Hospital as a cook and later in the laundry department. She volunteered in the community as both a Brownie and Girl Guide leader. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Past Guardian with the Job Daughters and in later years enjoyed outings and luncheons with the Red Hat ladies.'

'Chad left Gibsons a boy in 1988 and returned home to the coast a great man in 2016. He joined the military and served as a commando, airborne, seaman, submariner, warfare director and teacher. He retired in 2011 and immediately retrained as a paramedic. For the nearly 30 years he was away, he was a volunteer fireman, and thrived serving his community.'
