Each year the Royal Canadian Legion invites students across Canada to learn about and remember veterans who have sacrificed for our country and those who continue to serve today.

The Coasters Car Club presented Sechelt Hospital Foundation cheques for $5,500 from their 2018 Show & Shine efforts. Proceeds will go to the area of greatest need at Sechelt Hospital.

Calling all chefs! The Halfmoon Bay School PAC is getting ready for their Western-themed School Carnival on Thursday May 23, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with proceeds going to the PAC.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of community. Every year hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours to making wonderful things happen. Hike for Hospice is a great example.
