Pender Harbour is all about all genres of music this weekend. Saturday, Sept. 21 the fabulous Paul James will perform best of the 80’s and 90’s rock and roll and country at the Legion’s dance and barbecue starting at 6:30 p.m. for $20.

Join local historian Dale Peterson on the Sunshine Coast Water Taxi for a one-time-only two-hour special cruise to McNab Creek.

The Pender Harbour Wildlife Society presents guest speakers Dave Davies, the Fisheries and Oceans Canada community advisor for the lower Sunshine Coast, and fisheries biologist Jim Wilson on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.

Friends are organizing a fundraiser for a local volunteer and former candidate for Sechelt council to help with costs of recent medical procedures.

Sunshine Coast Community Services Society has announced the opening of The Family Place, a multi-service space for families with children aged 0-6, at its Trail Avenue location in Sechelt, 5520 Trail Ave.
