Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Contest

By May 10 many, but not all, of our summering species have arrived from their winter quarters. I was out and about in various locations on Sunday, May 5, and recorded seven of the eight warbler species that visit us to breed.

There’s an amazing property tucked away in the western corner of Elphinstone, owned by Gerry and Deborah Pageau. We’ve known the Pageaus since we first came to the Coast in the 1980s when we both had children in Jack and Jill Preschool.

Coffee House this Friday, May 10 at the School of Music has a great line up of fabulous local performers: Patricia Barnett, Ukulele Madness led by Nikki Weber, and the multi-talented George Connell. Doors open at 7 p.m., music at 7:30 p.m.
