Editor: I was not surprised to see a flurry of letters to the editor regarding the George Hotel proposal for Gibsons. I have respect for those who do not share my positive opinion for this plan.

Editor: I was looking at the long list of Sechelt properties up for tax sale in a recent edition of Coast Reporter. It made me wonder if people know they can prepay their tax by instalment.

Editor: Regarding the sinking of the HMCS Annapolis (Coast Reporter, Sept. 21), the Environment Ministry sets the standards and approval. If it is clean, it is OK.
