I attended the Gibsons all-candidates meeting last week and felt somewhat disappointed. A lot of candidates talked about leadership, youthful energy and change, but I only heard the same old same old when they were asked about the George (“we need more studies,” “we should wait until we have all the facts”).
Surely, the voters of this town should be able to hear a clear, honest opinion on the issue that matters most to them.
