Editor: As expected, we are yet again in a water crisis.

Editor: Mr. Trudeau has called a completely unnecessary election in the middle of a pandemic and a climate crisis only because he wants a majority in Parliament.

Editor: Here we go again. With the federal election campaign lasting 36 days, we can look forward to political hyperbole from all parties to dominate the media for that length of time.

Editor: Re: “ Concert response callous ” by Dr. Cheryl Malmo, Letters, Aug. 6. Dr. Malmo is shocked at the callous response of the Town and neighbours to outdoor concerts at High Beam Dreams.

Editor: Sechelt council’s recent decision to remove one of only two public tennis courts in the Sechelt area is a short-sighted reaction to recent proposals made by pickleball players.
