Here we go again. With the federal election campaign lasting 36 days, we can look forward to political hyperbole from all parties to dominate the media for that length of time.
As usual, the voters will be told by each party to vote for it if they wish to reach the Promised Land. Past experience leaves no doubt that regardless of who is elected, instead of a Promised Land we will inherit a land of broken promises.
