Editor:
As expected, we are yet again in a water crisis. Why is the provincial government dragging its heels on approving the SCRD’s water draw from the Church Road well? Why have the people of the Sunshine Coast, yet again, been subjected to mandates that penalize watering fruits and vegetables? We continue to receive an abundance of rain during the winter months, but alas it is treated like waste water. When will the province recognize this as a crisis and respond appropriately?
