Editor: Re: “Coast ‘literary matriarch’ Betty Keller honoured,” March 5.

Editor: What a breath of fresh air reading about Wendy Haddock, the school bus driver in Pender Harbour (“Quite a ride,” Feb. 26). She was the absolutely perfect fit for her job chauffeuring school kids for 46 years.

Editor: Last week while riding towards Gibsons on Lower Road, I was buzzed intentionally by the driver of a pickup. This happened about a half-kilometre from Joe Road towards Camp Byng.

Editor: The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is planning another major thrust to install water meters.

Editor: Some child development experts have said that playgrounds have negatively affected kids and that they were much better off playing in streets, backyards, and vacant lots.
