The Sunshine Coast Fastpitch League has started the season with high excitement and intense competition. The first two games were nail-biters, each decided by just one run, setting the stage for what looks to be a fiercely competitive season.

The Sunshine Coast Skating Club was proud to send a group of 15 skaters to the 2024 BC/YT Super Series Victoria Day competition in Surrey earlier this month.

A portion of the existing bench seating at the SCRD’s Gibsons and Area Recreation Centre is to be replaced by bucket and drink rail style seating.

The Sunshine Coast Skating Club had 11 skaters at the Starskate Super Series Final in Kelowna March 7 to 10. The team brought home three gold and three silver assessments and one silver medal.

Gibsons Paddle Club promotes the sport of outrigger canoeing, which means our members are on the water several times a week. Paddlers see all kinds of nature, but also floating debris such as Styrofoam, plastic, rope, and other assorted marine items.
