Sunshine Coast Gymnastics gymnasts participated in their first provincial championships and did amazingly well for their very first showing!
Gymnastics BC Xcel Championships took place April 17 to 19 at the Langley Events Centre. Eleven Sunshine Coast Gymnastics’ competitive gymnasts qualified for BC Championships in the Xcel Bronze category.
Joanie Wood came in 1st place AA (All-around) and Makena Hull took 2nd place AA.
Lily Plows, Brooke Graversen and Avery Torgunrud all finished 4th AA in their respective categories.
The total medal counts for Sunshine Coast Gymnastics were two gold, six silver and three bronze.
