Global Week of Inclusion runs from July 15 to 21. Inclusion is so much more than a word. Being accepted and welcomed by society is what everyone wants, especially those with disabilities.

On Monday night, baseball fans were treated to an exhilarating game as the Bears faced off against the Barons.

The week kicked off with an exciting matchup between the Barons and the Raiders.

The Sunshine Coast Rapids have clinched the final spot in the 2024 provincial championships in Langley, July 25 to 28. The Rapids concluded their regular season with a record of nine wins, four losses and a tie.

Week three of the Sunshine Coast Fastpitch League started off with a thrilling doubleheader featuring matchups between the Raiders and Lon’s Gun Show, and the Barons hosting the Bears.

Catherine Cooper, as a member of the 50 Women Initiative, held a golf tournament to raise funds for the Sunshine Coast Community Services Society (SCCSS) on July 7 at Blue Ocean Golf Course. A full complement of 72 entrants was achieved.

As programs came to a close for the summer, Special O wrapped up the sports season with a bang. Our AGM was held in the Gibsons Elementary library.
