The Ya Yas continued their dominating season with an 8-0 rout of fun-loving Fusion in Sunshine Coast Women's League soccer action last weekend.

The Sunshine Coast Skating Club has announced Caitlin Jarvis as its skater of the month for February. She is being recognized for her on-going commitment, leadership and volunteerism to the club and region.

It was a beautiful sunny day last Saturday for the game between U15 boys' teams Orange and Green in Sunshine Coast Youth Soccer Association House League play. Orange had a very strong passing game and all players worked very well together.

The up and down season for the Elphinstone senior boys continued Tuesday night with a close 76-72 loss to the Howe Sound Sounders in Gibsons.

Special Olympics Sunshine Coast, Gibsons basketball team, hosted its third tournament on Jan. 26 at Elphinstone Secondary School. Two teams from North Vancouver travelled to the Coast to play the teams from Gibsons and Sechelt.
