Celebration in spite of precipitation!
May 17 marked the 80th anniversary of May Day events in Pender Harbour and a little rain simply added to the fun. The volunteer event organizers (with help from generous sponsors) had the expected range of activities on the go and also organized a special shout out to May Queens, present and past, in the annual parade and the welcoming ceremony.
