The past three weeks and the beginning of my experience with Canada World Youth (CWY) have been busy - from Montréal to Val-David to Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

The replica wooden handliner rowboat, built in 2005 as a project of the Sunshine Coast Museum, was rowed and sailed from Davis Bay at Mission Point to Pilot Bay on Gabriola Island on June 20.

One of the best things that will happen in this, the Howe Sound Pulp and Paper (HSPP) centennial year, is the celebration of 10 years as sponsor of the Gibsons Landing Fibre Arts Festival.
