If you happen to see me crying this week, it's not because anything bad happened - quite the opposite. Something so surprisingly wonderful happened that I'm overwhelmed with thankfulness, which occasionally causes me to well up.

It's a topic that some want to sweep under the rug and forget, but the time for a broader discussion on decriminalizing marijuana is now.

Editor: It was disappointingto see that only 51 per cent supported the Idle No More movement in the last Coast Reporter on-line poll.

Editor: The foundation skills assessment (FSA) is an annual assessment of B.C. students in grades 4 to 7. It is designed to evaluate student progress with reading, writing and numeracy.
