Editor: Re: Concordia to pay for sinkhole fix I read with interest Christine Wood's article regarding the Seawatch development (Coast Reporter, May 10) and felt compelled to ask several questions.

Editor: Sechelt Mayor John Henderson has recently acknowledged that we have a structural deficit and that it has existed for a number of years. He went on to indicate current and desired steps for funding from the federal and provincial governments.

Editor: Last week at a local grocery outlet, I missed an urgent opportunity. At the checkout I couldn't help but observe the person ahead of me. He chose plastic bags -his groceries required five.

Editor: For more than 20 years, I have been squawking about the lack of a yield intersection at the south end of Redrooffs, where it meets Highway 101. There has been a multitude of serious accidents at this intersection.

Editor: As a concerned senior, I am tired of being told I have nothing but time to fight for old ways to continue (Brittney Redman, Coast Reporter, letters, April 26) and many others. First, my time -both my lifetime and my days are short.

Editor: Congratulations to Nicholas Simons on being re-elected. Our MLA is an honourable man who will continue to represent us honourably.

Editor: I am glad to hear School District No. 46 (SD46) is looking at their communication protocols and talking about changing renovation policy, (Coast Reporter, May 10), but I hope they are compelled to do more than that to resolve their issues.
