Editor: Ian Jacques wrote one of his best articles March 14, 2014. It was about the apathy of the Sechelt voters during the $7.4 million referendum. Twenty-two per cent voter turnout was unacceptable.

Editor: Isn’t it interesting who and what comes out of the woodwork leading up to election time? I can’t help but notice these “Flush the John” bumper stickers popping up around town.

Editor: I attended the Voice on the Coast event on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Roberts Creek Hall and was impressed by Lyndsay Poaps.

Editor: I wish to express gratitude to my community, to each and every individual who has shown kindness and support to me and my family after the loss of my son Jordan Beaudoin.

Editor: The Coast Recital Society dedicated its first concert of the season to the memory of its founder, Allan Crane. The program contained an insert describing the untiring work Allan did to foster the arts in our community.

Editor: As our municipal elections draw near, I feel compelled, once again, to ask why a school district this size continues to elect, and pay, seven trustees.
