Editor: I am appalled at the volume of expired insurance decals I see on vehicles parked or driving on the streets of the Sunshine Coast. Yesterday there was a March decal in the Sunnycrest Mall lot, and an expired July decal at Wilson Park.

Editor: Having read Jacob Roberts’ article in your last issue regarding the latest Gibsons council meeting that was predominantly concerning the George (“George receives minor redesign”), I was mystified as to why Mr.

Editor: I felt I had to get this message out to my friends who have a different opinion than mine regarding the George.

Editor: The story of the George and the OCP is actually quite simple.

Editor: In 1963 I was a young man of 21. I lived and worked in the Toronto-Hamilton area and I had a good job.

Editor: The wave of revulsion and condemnation of the perpetrator in the wake of the shooting of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe is justly earned. It is truly debilitating to see pictures of U.S.

Editor: It is helpful to view this dry summer as a challenge to find new and creative ways to save and re-use water. The smoke and ash visiting our place in Halfmoon Bay were a real wake-up call.

Editor: I have had enough of a portion of our driving public.
