I felt I had to get this message out to my friends who have a different opinion than mine regarding the George. I do not want to lose them as friends over this issue, and I don’t want to see this community split apart because we differ in our opinions. I would hope we can work together to maintain our town’s unique character and also provide economic stimulus and employment.
Let’s work together with the developer and also the town council to ensure this, and to encourage sustainable growth in our town. All or nothing positions get us nowhere, but cooperation maybe works.
