Editor: People in Halfmoon Bay who for decades have voted at Coopers Green need to make sure they read the back of the voters card they received from the federal government in the mail.

Editor: During the last 50 years a variety of prime ministers from Quebec have plundered our West and have squandered the moneys in Quebec, the Maritimes and Ontario.

Editor: Highway versus bridge? A tunnel from Horseshoe Bay to Gibsons is the best solution to this “absolute necessity” problem. We all “dig tunnels” like the one from England to France and back.

Editor: Let’s Rock the Vote this Oct. 19 in Canada’s 42nd general election. In 2011, 40 per cent of eligible voters stayed home and the Conservative Party achieved a majority with just 24 per cent of the eligible vote.

Editor: I feel I must write and complain about the smoking behaviour shown by the traffic control workers who continue to smoke on duty, and wave traffic on with their cigarette in hand. This is totally unacceptable.
