Editor: I tried to vote early at Elections Canada offices in our mall. These Elections Canada employees seem to have no idea of the accessibility needs of a blind person (a person who cannot see).

Editor: Re: B.C. government to look at cost of building bridge to Sunshine Coast. Just thought I would offer a much cheaper more practical suggestion to Minister Stone – teach all of us Sunshine Coasters how to walk on water.

Editor: Re: “Anti-George petition debunked,” Sept. 18. The Oxford Dictionary of English defines “debunk” as “reveal to be false.” Joan Beck’s little speech at the Sept. 15 Gibsons council meeting did no such thing.

Editor: Re: “Anti-George petition debunked,” Sept. 18. Simply put, is there anyone left out there who still buys into what the anti-George mob have to say? On a scale of one to 10, their credibility, though never high, is now zero.

Editor: Some of the promised benefits by the George developer are starting to evaporate and the shovels haven’t even broken ground. Over the summer, staff and the developer’s agent have agreed in principle to the following items.
