PaceSetter Athletic Run Club members Jamie, Teresa, Krisztina and Trudy took part in the Steveston Icebreaker 8k, held Jan. 20 in Richmond. The Icebreaker is race #1 of the Lifestages Lower Mainland Road Race Series.

The 42nd annual Gibsons Curling Club Men’s Bonspiel took place Jan. 18 to 20 with 24 teams competing, including eight teams from the Sunshine Coast. Curlers from as far away as Ontario participated in the three-day competition.
