The BMO Sunshine Coast April Fool’s Run is this Sunday, April 7. Over 600 runners and walkers will be participating. Late registration happens Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at PaceSetter Athletic and Sunday 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.

Gran Fondo cancelled due to safety concerns
After seven years of growth, the Gibsons Grind Gran Fondo has been cancelled due to safety concerns, with no firm plans for resurrection. “I work with a number of people who used to ride it,” said Larry Reid, one of the event’s founders.
