The Easter bunny had been busy hiding chocolate eggs for the runners who started the Easter weekend with a 5km or 10km trail race in and around Connor Park in Halfmoon Bay. The race Jurassic Parc named after trails like Pterodactyl and T-Rex brings the runners through a scene straight out of the movie. Jordan Maynard of Gibsons and John Jackson flew through the trails like they were being chased by raptors, or maybe it was the Easter bunny, and were the first placed male in each distance. Anna Verspoor won first female of the long course, which makes it her second win in the trail series. Amelia Mattson of Courtney won first female of the short course.

Long course first male and female finisher: Jordan Maynard - 42:45, Anna Verspoor - 56:24

Short course first male and female finisher: John Jackson - 27:35, Amelia Mattson - 31:53
