New season starts Monday

A new season of lacrosse starts Monday on the Coast. Organizers are looking forward to another exciting season at the Sunshine Coast Arena.

Track and field season starts

Athletes from both Elphi and Chat Secondary Schools are lacing up their shoes in preparation for the start of another high school track and field season. Elphi has a team of 25 this year and began practices in early March.

The Pacific Blades Speed Skating Club has just finished its inaugural season on the Coast. By all accounts, it was a huge success. Pacific Blades had 14 members this year with five competing at the southern regionals, two competing as B.C.
