Learn to sail in Gibsons

The Gibsons Yacht Club (GYC) is getting set to launch its learn-to-sail program. "Last year we had 60 kids attend our classes. This year we are hoping for a similar number," said program coordinator Carl Armstrong.

Richey seeks national spot

The Midget and Bantam Gibsons Crusherz are both off to respective provincial championships after each won a best-of-three playdown last weekend.

Chat sixth at provincial championships

The Chat senior boys completed a solid season on the links with a sixth-place showing at the provincial championships May 30 in Kamloops. Chat finished with a two-round total of 664 (based on the four top scores from each round).
