The Chat bantam boys are off to the playoffs. On Monday afternoon, Chat picked up a 50-48 win over Rockridge in West Vancouver in their final league game. Chat finishes the season with a league record of 4-3 and is the sixth seed in the playoffs.

Long hours on the driving range and putting greens are starting to pay off for Mike Mannion. After a successful 2005 season, Mannion is off to a flying start in 2006, even though the season hasn't officially started yet.

The Cougars were no match for the Sabres Wednesday night in North Vancouver. But it wasn't for lack of effort.

Wrestlers from Elphi ruled the mat at the North Shore Championships last Friday. The senior boys' team finished third overall, only one point behind second place St. Thomas Aquinas.

The Rockridge Ravens may want to look for a permanent residence on the Sunshine Coast. For the second week in a row, the Ravens put on an impressive showing, winning the senior boys' basketball tournament hosted by the Elphi Cougars.

The Rockridge Ravens from North Vancouver ruined the party last Saturday night at Chat Secondary. The Ravens knocked off the Chat senior boys 70-51 in the final of the annual Open Waters Invitational. Chat had won the previous two years.

After a thrilling double overtime 48-46 loss against Sentinel Secondary of West Vancouver Jan. 9, the Chatelech bantam boys' basketball team won both games of a Jan. 11 double-header at Chat.
