The Gibsons midget AA Cubs remarkable season came to an end Saturday in Prince George with a 2-2 record at the provincial finals. The Cubs entered the provincials as one of the favourites.

A solid contingent of athletes from the Sunshine Coast did their community proud at last weekend's B.C. Summer Games in Langley. More than 2,500 athletes from around the province competed in 23 sports over three days of competition.
