'Bob grew up in Richmond and moved to the Sunshine Coast in the late 70's. He worked as a gas mechanic for Husby Forest Products and then as an automobile mechanic. Bob had a great sense of humour, was kind and generous and was well thought of by many.  He will be dearly missed.'

Shorncliffe Adult Day Program (ADP) currently runs four days a week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offers a variety of stimulating cognitive, physical and social based programs for those with health challenges who can benefit from therapeutic support, enabling meaningful and healthy leisure experiences. In addition, the program offers some respite time for the member’s caregiver.   

Bring a friend, come and try curling at no cost whatsoever, and at the very least you’ll appreciate the impressive skill of those elite curlers you’ll be seeing on TV for the next month or so. And who knows, maybe you’ll find a new and fun activity for next winter as a new curling season begins.

Our Dakota Ridge Nordic kids had a great day with their races and Fun Day events Feb. 12. It was a positive day of community skiing and snowshoeing with smiles and cheers and plenty of cowbells to encourage everyone on.

'The Climb is an opportunity to work with our team, and support a cause that hits close to home for many of us. Having lost my mom 25 years ago, lung health has always been near and dear to me.'
