When you buy a raffle ticket, drop coins in a collection box, or donate to a charity online, do you ever wonder where the money really goes? Here is an example of your Sunshine Coast Lions spending money. Lions President Bill Conway presents a $750 cheque to Foye Hatton of the Arrowhead Club House. The Lions also donated $260 collected at their Christmas dinner, and $80 in Clayton's gift cards, to the food bank. The gift cards are kindly donated by our “No Meat Draw” customers at the Lighthouse Pub. One hundred per cent of the money collected on the Sunshine Coast is returned to the community.
