'Paul enjoyed keeping busy and always had something on the go. He made many friends and connections through his work. On his days off you could find him fishing, or playing his luck (which we all knew was astounding) at the casino.'

'At the age of 17, Bob decided to follow in his father's footsteps, and begin his career in the logging industry, where he started by setting chokers behind the skidder, and was soon known as one of the best fallers on the coast, until he finally retired from the industry in 2013.'

'Dar loved travel, hot weather, beaches, swimming, and her beloved Toronto Blue Jays. The annual pig roast she always welcomed, to be with friends and family.'

'Margaret enjoyed many years of work as head buyer for the housewares department for The Hudson Bay Co. Margaret was passionate about animals, loved music, chocolate and gambling!'

'Andre lived a life of community service in the RCAF, RCMP Auxiliary, Roberts Creek Volunteer Fire Department and as a Journeyman Red Seal Tradesman and Instructor in Carpentry, overseeing the apprenticeship program for both the shishalh Nation and his construction business. A vast number of Coast homes bear his finger prints to this day. Andre took great pride in his trade and a legacy of quality construction.'

January 1, 2023 We regret to announce the passing of Edward Hourihane of Sechelt, BC in Vancouver on January 1, 2023 at the age of 83.

'Pat worked as a nurse in southern England during World War II, prior to moving to Canada. She lived in Ontario, Kitimat, Victoria, Nanoose Bay and Parksville before moving to Sechelt in 2006.'

June 21, 1944 - December 28, 2022

'Danny was a carpenter by trade, building homes, hotels, and bridges throughout the province. He was dedicated to his craft and took pride in his work, especially in the homes he built for his family. '
